To My Baby GIRL

Last Wednesday, December 4th was our big ultra sound day. We got to see you for the first time! You decided to suck your thumb most of the time, which was adorable. Just like your mommy! We also found out that you are a GIRL. I knew it all along. I had dreams about you, and more noticeably from the outside I've been completely broken out with ACNE since about week 14. My face, shoulders, back and neck have been quite the site, but I guess it's worth it to have a little princess in our lives.

Back up to about week 10. Almost out of my first trimester, so I'm thinking I luckily dodged the whole "morning sickness" bullet, turns out I was wrong. It was never horrible, but I did throw up once a day, every morning, then more often than not, felt like a champ after. (Not to mention I was always starving.) That lasted until about week 16ish and now I'm fairly back to normal. I only throw up if I smell something horrendous, or see something that is horrendous.

School has been exhausting, but now I'm so close to graduating (8 more days!) that I think I can make it. My back often aches, and I come home and could just fall asleep. For the past week, I've been able to feel you move and once or twice I've felt distinct kicks. Since I'm about to 20 weeks, I hope I can feel you move more, just so I know you are in there :) the ultrasound tech said you are completely healthy and growing along schedule. I'm counting my blessings!

I've even got a cute little belly now! No more sucking it in. Darn. ;) Maternity clothes are too big, but my clothes are too tight. So I'm just wearing larger clothes. Hopefully I'll fit into maternity stuff soon.

Here are some pics from the ultrasound :)

 No outdoor plumbing :)

 Your darling little face!
You had just taken your thumb out of your mouth:)

3D shot of you giving us thumbs up!

We are already so blessed to have you apart of our lives. I can't wait for you to actually be here! Even though your dad was praying for a boy, you'll definitely be a daddy's little girl and be wrapped around his thumb:) almost halfway to meeting you!
